PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Southern Shores Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on November 4, 2026 in the Pitts Center located at 5377 N. Virginia Dare Trl., Southern Shores, NC 27949. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m. The purpose of the hearing is to consider ZTA-2026-05, a Zoning Text Amendment application submitted by Anthony S. Mina to amend Town Code Section 36-414 by adding requirements to nullify amendments. The application and materials are available for public inspection at
www.southernshores-nc.gov and at the Planning & Code Enforcement Dept. at 5375 N. Virginia Dare Trl., Southern Shores, NC 27949. They will also be available for review at the meeting. All persons for or against the proposed amendment are invited to be present and comment on the application during the hearing.
