NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Manteo Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Manteo Town Hall, located at 407 Budleigh Street, Manteo, NC. The purpose of the hearing is regarding proposed text amendments to the Town of Manteo Nonconformity Ordinance and sign standards of the Town of Manteo to comply with U.S. Supreme Court Decision.
As a result of this hearing, substantial changes may be made in the proposal as advertised to reflect objections, debate, and discussion at the hearing. For more information, you may contact the Planning Department at 252 473-4110 or email planning@manteonc.gov. A copy of the proposed documents are on file with the Town Clerk for public inspection during regular office hours and will posted on https://www.manteonc.gov/ .
