NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Town of Manteo Board of Commissioners will hold public hearings on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Manteo Town Hall, located at 407 Budleigh Street, Manteo, NC. The purpose of the hearing is regarding proposed text amendments to the Town of Manteo Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance, Telecommunication Ordinance, Noise Ordinance, and a Quasi-Judicial Hearing for a Special Use Permit for the change in use for 417 Agona Street.
As a result of this hearing, substantial changes may be made in the proposal as advertised to reflect objections, debate, and discussion at the hearing. For more information, you may contact the Planning Department at 252 473-4110 or email planning@manteonc.gov. A copy of the proposed documents are on file with the Town Clerk for public inspection during regular office hours and will be posted on https://www.manteonc.gov/ .
