Complaint and Motion Application for Preliminary and Permanent Injunction to Jerod Lee Kernen: TAKE NOTICE that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed on February 17, 2026, in the aboveentitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows:
That Defendant Jerod Lee Kernen be preliminarily and permanently enjoined from the practice of general contracting, advertising or suggesting that Defendant is licensed in the State of North Carolina until such time, if ever, that Defendant becomes properly licensed by Plaintiff.
That Plaintiff be awarded its costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees.
That Plaintiff have and recover such other and further relief against Defendants as the Court may deem just and proper.
You are required to make defense to such pleading not later than 40 days from May 3, 2026, and upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought.
